I'm an Elementary Education major. My topic for this class is hurricanes. I have always been interested in natural disasters and storm chasers, so I thought hurricanes would be a good theme. Hurricanes seem to be the most disasterous to the Unites States lately. Katrina especially. My grandparents live in Florida, which scares me because hurricanes are a threat to them.

I really like your picture. That scares me too. I've never been affected by a tornado or hurrican and I hope I never am. I have family in Mississippi that lost their homes to Hurrican Katrina and that was hard enough!
WOW! The picture is crazy! I have also always been interested in hurricanes but have never been affected by one. I hope your grandparents are always safe!
I've never been effected by a hurricane before, that's one great thing about living in "the region." We have crazy weather, but the occasional tornado, rarely harmful, is as extreme as it gets!
I love thunderstorms and have even been in a tornado. Never really had to deal with anything to bad. I think weather is just fascinating.
I've always been interested in hurricanes, and I made my blog on a similar topic. Even though they can be dangerous, I think it would be cool to experience one... About a catagory 3 so the winds won't destroy everything around me, and the hurrican will move fast enough to not flood the area too badly. =)It would be cool to have a better understanding for the people that live on the coast and what they have to endure...
